MISSION 

The Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce is committed to the development of the Crenshaw Corridor as a matrix for commerce and culture that attracts economic investment, tourism, and fosters community pride.

The Chamber creates a mechanism to increase the economic development for new and small businesses by providing access to technical assistance, collective networking, support and training.

The Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce develops a value-added partnership with other city chambers, businesses, corporations and residents within the community.  The Chamber keeps abreast of city, county, and state legislation and ordinances that affect the growth and business endeavors of the Crenshaw Corridor.

 THE BENEFITS OF JOINING

  • Business Mixers – are organized to help members connect and build business.
  • Referral - through a roster or directory held on our chamber website for business to business referral and customer based referral.
  • New Member Receptions - provide new members the opportunity to meet with fellow members, receive the new member certificate, and to spotlight their business to the full membership body.
  • Special Events - are planned each year to provide a high level of marketing and networking for business growth.
  • Guest Speaker Forums/Seminars and Workshops - are held to enhance the quality of service and trade provided to you the business owner and the service provider.  You can use this as a means to do new product or service promotion.
  • Political Access - is promoted through a network of informed leaders in our community with established political connections that our business owners can build on.
  • Business Infrastructure Building - through established collaborative efforts with instructional organizations (SBA, Urban League).
  • Marketing - some of the tools offered are limited web space for advertisements on our official website and limited space for product and literature display at our business mixers.
